From November 20th to 21st, the 1st Plenary Meeting of ISO/TC 351 Contact centers, hosted by the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China and organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Commercial Sub-Council, was held in Xiong’an New Area, Hebei Province, hosted in a hybrid format. The meeting set a total of 20 agenda items, mainly including the report of the ISO/TC 351 Secretariat, discussion on the name and technical scope of ISO/TC 351, presentation of new proposals, sharing of good practices, introduction of the Strategic Business Plan (SBP), and discussion on the potential structure of the TC, etc. The meeting was attended by more than 50 experts from countries including China, Senegal, Azerbaijan, the United Kingdom, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Sweden, India, Kenya, the Republic of Korea, Finland, and Spain, as well as from the ISO Central Secretariat, ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 35, and the Organization for Trade Development and Standards Cooperation (ODCCN).
