The Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC) was initiated and established by the Egyptian Cabinet in 1950. It is the representative body of the Egyptian business community and a national chamber of commerce, playing a significant role in the economic and social development of Egypt. It promotes the modernization of domestic trade to responds to the development and challenges of domestic and global markets, enhances the competitiveness of private small and medium-sized enterprises and cultivates the necessary human resources, promotes the participation of the business community in the formulation of relevant government policies, strives to achieve common interests, and promotes the economic development of Egypt.
