The Thai-Chinese Business Council (TCBC) was initiated and established during the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to the People's Republic of China in March 2001. The TCBC was jointly established by the Board of Trade of Thailand (BOT), the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Thai Bankers' Association (TBA).
