Againsst the backdrop of China's rapid economic growth, in order to promote closer ties between Iranian and Chinese enterprises, the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce was established in 2001, with only 65 member units at the time of its establishment. Today, the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce is the largest chamber of commerce in Iran, possessing more than 9,000 member units from both Iran and China. The Iran-China Chamber of Commerce is a non-trading and non-profit organization, aiming to promote economic, trade and industrial relations between Iran and China.
