The National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam (NCCIBD) is the most representative national business chamber in Brunei. Established in 1984 through the merger of the Malay Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Bandar Seri Begawan, it officially opened its new premises in the Beribi Industrial Area, Bandar Seri Begawan, in December 2004. NCCIBD aims to unite domestic entrepreneurs and merchants, safeguard the interests of local enterprises, support the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and advance Brunei’s economic diversification. It maintains close communication with the Bruneian government and is affiliated with regional and international business organizations.
